April 3: Minnesota State Mankato’s Health Summit to Explore ‘Creating Community Well-Being: Shaping the Future of Health Care’
Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato will hold its annual Health Summit from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, with this year’s topic being “Creating Community Well-Being: Shaping the Future of Health Care.”
The Health Summit will explore the link between good health and social connections and delve into how to thrive in communities that support individuals’ physical, economic and social well-being to allow them to reach their fullest potential for wellness.
The Health Summit is open to the public. Registration is required. Register online here. Cost is $30, and all registered attendees will receive a certificate of attendance. There is no cost for students.
The April 3 event begins with registration and check in at 8:15 a.m. The Health Summit schedule includes a keynote address at 9:15 a.m. by Dr. Sarah Y. Vinson, a triple board-certified physician who specializes in adult, child & adolescent, and forensic psychiatry and is a professor of pediatrics and psychiatry and the chair of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Morehouse School of Medicine.
