April 11: Canadian Hip-Hop Artist bbno$ to Perform at Minnesota State Mankato

Mankato, Minn. – Canadian multi-platinum performer bbno$, known for his popular singles “Lalala” and “edamame,” will perform Thursday, April 11 at 7:30 p.m. in Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Bresnan Arena (located in the University’s Taylor Center). Doors will open at 7 p.m.

The concert, presented by the University’s Student Events Team, is open to the public and is for all ages. Tickets (all general admission, standing-room only with elevated seating) are on sale now.

Concert tickets may be purchased online at www.mnsuevents.com or in person at Minnesota State Mankato’s Student Activities front desk, located in the Centennial Student Union, Room 173. In-person ticket purchases may be made with cash, credit card or a check made out to Minnesota State Mankato.

Public tickets are $40. Minnesota State Mankato student tickets are $15, and student guest ticekts are $20 (limit one per student). VIP tickets (open to the public and Minnesota State Mankato students) are $75 and include early admission to the event, group picture with the artist, pre-party event access and a signed poster.

There will be no outside food or drink, large bags, backpacks, selfie sticks and pepper spray permitted at the concert. No flash photography is allowed. Minnesota State Mankato bans weapons on campus and is an alcohol, drug and tobacco-free campus. Use of substances will result in removal from the concert.

Parking for the event will be available in Lots 20 and 21, located adjacent to Blakeslee Stadium on campus.

According to preview information provided to Minnesota State Mankato’s Student Events Team, bbno$ was hailed by Rolling Stone as “A Viral Pioneer” and named one of 2020’s “Breakthrough Artists of the Year.” His fifth studio album, “Eat Ya Veggies,” featured hit singles “edamame” with 88Rising’s Rich Brian, “yoga” with Rebecca Black, as well as audience favorites “i remember” and “wassup” with Yung Gravy and was streamed collectively over one billion times.
