Orientation & Services

PSEO Orientation

  • New students in the PSEO program are required to attend an orientation/registration program which is scheduled for the Friday before the first day of classes fall and spring semesters.
  • Information regarding orientation/registration will be received from the PSEO Coordinator approximately one month prior to the start of the semester.
  • If the student is unable to attend the orientation they must call the Office of Extended Learning and schedule an individual appointment with the PSEO Coordinator prior to registering for classes.

Textbooks

All course textbooks may be picked up from Minnesota State Mankato Barnes and Noble Bookstore following registration on orientation day. Only required textbooks are provided at no cost to the student. Recommended texts and materials may be purchased by the student but will not be provided by the MN Dept of Education. Required textbooks are the property of Minnesota State Mankato and must be returned by Friday of finals week each semester. If textbooks are not returned by the deadline, the student will be billed for the textbooks.

Advising Information

If credits are needed for high school graduation, it is the students' responsibility to contact their high school counselor to ensure the university course(s) will meet the high school graduation requirements. For general PSEO program questions you may contact the PSEO Coordinator.

Campus Housing

Campus housing is not available to students participating in the PSEO program. There are many apartments near campus and the Student Leadership Development and Service-Learning Office assists students in finding off-campus housing options.
