Leslie McPhail Peterson: Leslie works in Library Services as the Assistant to the Dean. She works with operations and has been with Minnesota State Mankato for 8 years. She likes to travel anywhere it is warm. When not working or traveling you will find her reading a good book or sewing. If you are ever in the library stop in and say hello to Leslie and the library staff.
Brian McMahon: Brian has been with Minnesota State University for a whopping 25 Years. He currently works in Information and Technology Services as a Customer Service Representative. The best part of Brian’s job is getting to work with the students. With 4 children and 2 grandchildren its amazing he has time for hobbies like basketball and tennis. After retirement he plans on heading to Oregon and living by the beach.
Ann Swartz: Ann has been working in Student Leadership Development & Service Learning for 5 years and is the Program Coordinator for such campus programs as JumpStart and Campus Kitchen. When she is not at work she likes to take her dog up north to enjoy the outdoors. She enjoys activities such as camping, hiking, hunting, and archery.
Maria Bevacqua: Maria is the Chair and an Associate Professor in Women’s Studies. Maria has been here for 7 years. She found that getting paid to be a full time feminist as well as the ability to work with students the best part of her job. Some of her hobbies include yoga and fitness. Her favorite place to vacation is in her parents’ homeland of Italy.
Steve Woehrle: Steve works as a faculty member in the College of Business. He teaches accounting and has been with MSU for 30 years!! Retirement is a difficult subject for Steve since he truly enjoys what he is doing right now. His students and colleagues are the best part of the job. He likes traveling and has a knack for collecting.
Betty Busby: Betty is an Administrative Assistant in the Counseling and Student Personnel Office. In her 16 years on campus she believes working with faculty and students to be the most rewarding. With traveling as a hobby it is no surprise that Europe is at the top of her favorite vacation spots. She also enjoys needlework and gardening.
Skye Dauer: Skye is an Administrative Assistant in the Mathematics & Statistics Department as well as the Interim Testing Coordinator for Minnesota State Mankato's National Testing Program. Skye has been with Minnesota State Mankato for 14 years and also has a daughter that attends the university. She enjoys camping and says it is too long until retirement to think about.
Mezbahur Rahman: Mezbahur has been a Statistics Department Faculty member for 7 yeas now and likes the research and teaching aspects the most. In his spare time he likes to travel and bike. His favorite place to travel is anywhere near the ocean. Mezbahur has one child and when asked about retirement said it was too early to think about.
