Students can improve their academic performance when they use the services of the Center for Academic Success. Our trained staff of graduate and undergraduate tutors can guide students through the process of writing an effective paper, preparing for an important exam, or completing a challenging assignment. Along the way, students of all abilities obtain the skills needed to become more confident about succeeding in their academic endeavors. Trained tutors are available to assist students with writing, languages, math, science, and more. Come visit the Center, located in the lower level of the library, and learn how you can improve your study habits, acquire more effective academic skills, and achieve better grades.

In addition to the CAS, a few other offices offer tutoring. Some of these offerings are open to the entire campus population, while others to a subset of students.

Maverick Success Program
The Maverick Success Program is an intentional advising program for select admitted students that provides individualized academic support. Students are required to meet regularly with an assigned academic advisor in the Center for Academic Success for two semesters.
