University Archives Seeks Community Input for COVID-19 Community History Project
Mankato, Minn. – University Archives at Minnesota State University, Mankato is working on a COVID-19 community history project and is asking the community for help.
The project seeks to collect, preserve and provide access to experiences of individuals during the COVID-19 pandemic by documenting the stories and feelings of students, employees, alumni and community members.
These personal experiences can be in the form of self-documentation (such as journals, diaries, reflective essays, creative works, scrapbooks, etc.), through the submission of “Your COVID-19 Story” through the project website and/or oral history interviews.
University archives invites participation from individuals who are residents of any of the 12 counties covered by the Southern Minnesota Historical Center (Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, Freeborn, Le Sueur, Martin, Nicollet, Rice, Sibley, Steele, Waseca, and Watonwan).
