MANKATO – Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Department of Performing Arts will present the 2024 Fall Dance Concert Dec. 5-7 and the Student Dance Showcase on Dec. 8 in the Ted Paul Theatre in the Earley Center for Performing Arts.

The Dec. 5-7 performances are full-length concerts featuring 37 student performers, including several freshmen students from the largest cohort of incoming dance majors in several years. Twin Cities-based guest artist Darrius Strong will also be featured as a guest choreographer. Strong is the founder and artistic director of STRONGmovement and the director of the Hip Hop program at Eleve Performing Arts Center.

The Dec. 8 performance is a Student Dance Showcase, which is choreographed, designed, produced and performed by students.

The 2024 Fall Dance Concert is at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 5 & 6 and at 2 p.m. on Dec. 7. The Student Dance Showcase is on Dec. 8 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $10 regular price, $9 for seniors ages 65 and older, children under 16 and groups of 15 or more; and $5 for MSU students for the Fall Dance Concert.

Tickets for the Student Showcase are $5 and available at the door.
