Mankato, Minn. – Regional music favorite City Mouse will perform Saturday, Feb. 4 at Hooligans, 1400 East Madison Avenue (Madison East Center), Mankato.

City Mouse will perform a set and then feature Mary Jane Alm in a second set highlighting the music of Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt and other female artists.

Singer/songwriter Andrea Lyn opens the evening at 7 p.m. featuring music rooted in the reality of real-life experiences.

The concert event is presented by the Minnesota State Mankato Performance Series with assistance from the Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.

City Mouse recently celebrated 50 years of performing live. The group has played thousands of gigs on concert stages, in college auditoriums and clubs in the seven-state area and Canada.

Alm has earned Minnesota Music Awards for Best Female Vocalist and Artist of the Year. She has appeared on a number of nationally broadcast radio shows, including "A Prairie Home Companion" and "Good Evening" with Noah Adams. Her work on five music workshop for kids CDs garnered her an Emmy Award and a Parents Choice Award.
