University Closed Tuesday-Wednesday, Jan. 29-30
Will close at 6 a.m. Tuesday, re-open at 6 a.m. Thursday
Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato will close its campus beginning at 6 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 and will remain closed all day Tuesday and all day Wednesday, Jan. 30 due to hazardous winter weather conditions.
All Tuesday and Wednesday classes are cancelled in Mankato, at the University’s Edina location at 7700 France Avenue and at Normandale Community College. All University offices will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
Starting at 6 a.m. Tuesday, only weather-essential employees should report to work.
The University’s Mankato campus will open again Thursday, Jan. 31 at 6 a.m., and all Thursday classes will be held as scheduled.
NOTE: On-campus residence communities and the University Dining Center will remain open while the University is closed.
