June 3: Community Retirement Reception for President Richard Davenport

Mankato, Minn. – The public is invited to attend an open house retirement reception for Minnesota State University, Mankato President Richard Davenport on Thursday, June 3 from 5-7 p.m. in the Grand Hall at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center in Mankato.
A program with remarks is scheduled for 6 p.m. as part of the event to honor Davenport, who is retiring June 30 after serving for 19 years as the 12th president in Minnesota State Mankato’s 153-year history. Davenport announced his retirement on Aug. 14.

Minnesota State Mankato, a comprehensive university with 14,604 students, is part of the Minnesota State system, which includes 30 colleges and seven universities.
