Continuing & Professional Education Offering New 2019 Courses
Manufacturing Leadership, Executive Leadership to be offered as part of Maverick Academy Series.
Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Department of Continuing & Professional Education is offering a variety of new leadership courses in 2019 as part of the Maverick Academy Series.
The Manufacturing Leadership Academy is an eight-session course that will be offered from January through August. During this course, new and experienced manufacturing supervisors and managers will explore various employee challenges to improve their performance as company leaders. The sessions will be led by Minnesota State Mankato’s Organizational Effectiveness Research Group, which is managed by the University’s graduate program in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
The Executive Prep Academy will include a four-session course on “Executive Leadership” from January through April and a four-session course on “Executive Decision Making” from September through December. The Executive Prep Academy series provides new and emerging leaders unique perspectives on how to drive customer-strategic thinking across the enterprise. Participants will learn best practices to manage teams, handle adversity and define one’s personal leadership style and brand.
All Maverick Academy Series sessions will be held at the Strategic Partnership Center (424 N. Riverfront Drive, Mankato).
