Nov. 16: 3 Comedians to Perform at Minnesota State Mankato's Maverick Comedy Festival

Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Student Events Team is hosting three comedians in the Maverick Comedy Festival on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. in the University’s Ostrander Auditorium, located in Centennial Student Union.
According to a Student Events Team preview, comedian Learnmore Jonasi, a finalist on this year’s “America’s Got Talent” series, will join comedians Matt Banwart and Wolfgang Hunter in “lively performances, funny storytelling and plenty of chances for audience interaction through hilarious personal stories and unique takes on everyday life.”
Public tickets are $5 and available for purchase at www.mnsuevents.com, and the event is free for Minnesota State Mankato students with a MavCard. Free parking is available in the visitors pay lot (lot 4) across from Centennial Student Union.
According to the Student Events Team, Jonasi is a winner of the 2023 Boston Comedy Festival and known for his Golden Buzzer moment on “America’s Got Talent.” Banwart’s debut album “Town Kid” reached No. 1 on Amazon and iTunes comedy charts. Hunter is recognized for his appearances on popular podcasts and his work with “The Mr. Beast” YouTube channel.
