Nov. 17: Stand-up Comedian Josh Novey to Perform at Minnesota State Mankato

Mankato, Minn. – Stand-up comedian Josh Novey is the featured performer during “Veteran Comedy Night” at Minnesota State University, Mankato at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17 in the University’s Ostrander Auditorium, located in Centennial Student Union.

The event, sponsored by Minnesota State Mankato’s Student Events Team, is free and open to the public. Free parking will be available in University Lot 4 (pay lot; located outside Centennial Student Union) beginning at 6:30 p.m.

According to an event preview provided by the Student Events Team, Novey is an Iraq War veteran whose clean comedy makes his performance appropriate for general audiences. Novey will share his experiences as a veteran to “create a laughter-filled night that will appeal to veterans and civilians alike.”

After Novey’s comedy routine, a social and story time will be held, during which audience members are invited to share funny and uplifting stories about their time serving in the military or supporting those in the military.
