According to the American Red Cross, blood is a perishable product that can only come from generous volunteers. By donating blood, individuals can make a difference in the lives of patients in their community and throughout the nation. Donors of all blood types are urgently needed.

A code for parking in the University Visitors Lot is available by sending an advance request to george.corey@mnsu.edu, as codes must be entered upon arrival to the visitors’ pay lot.

The American Red Cross said donors of all blood types are urgently needed, as the recent hurricanes in the Southeast have led to the cancellation of hundreds of blood drives, making the critically low blood supplies even worse. Those who donate in November will receive a $10 e-gift card.

Minnesota State Mankato, a comprehensive university with 15,251 students, is part of the Minnesota State system, which includes 26 colleges and seven universities.
