Nov. 8: Minnesota State Mankato Alumnus to Discuss His Experiences as Army Combat Medic in Vietnam, Career as Government Official, Lobbyist

Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences will host an interview-style discussion, “To Vietnam and Back,” with alumnus and military veteran Bill Strusinski on Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Earley Center for Performing Arts, Room 203A.

The event, free and open to the public, will also be livestreamed. Registration is required to attend this event in person or virtually. Register here. Free event parking is available to registered participants only.

The discussion with Strusinski will be moderated by Randal Dietrich, executive director of the Minnesota Military Museum.

According to an event preview, Strusinski will share his personal and professional journey, highlighting the intersections of his experiences as a combat medic, veteran, advocate and lobbyist. Strusinski’s book, “Care Under Fire,” will be available for purchase and signing after the event.
