Oct. 22: Entrepreneur and Author Maha Abouelenein to Discuss ‘7 Rules of Self-Reliance’ at Minnesota State Mankato

Mankato, Minn. – Entrepreneur and author Maha Abouelenein will discuss her book, “7 Rules of Self-Reliance” in a free public presentation Tuesday, Oct. 22 from 3:30-5 p.m. in Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Ostrander Auditorium, located in Centennial Student Union.

According to an event preview, Abouelenein will discuss “how to deploy your greatest asset—yourself—to achieve your dreams and beyond.”

Free event parking is available across from Centennial Student Union in the visitor pay lot (lot 4). After the event, Abouelenein will be available to sign her book, which will be available for sale.

According to a speaker biography provided by the College of Business, Abouelenein is a strategic communication expert and entrepreneur with more than three decades of experience. As the CEO and founder of Digital and Savvy, a global communications consulting firm with offices in the United States and United Arab Emirates, Abouelenein has been instrumental in orchestrating transformations in communications strategies for clients that include global corporate giants, high-growth startups, sports organizations, governments, CEOs and high-net-worth individuals.

Abouelenein’s presentation is hosted by Minnesota State Mankato’s Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship as part of Women’s Entrepreneurship Week (Oct. 21-25).

The Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship is part of the University’s College of Business, but it serves the entire University as well as alumni and private and public businesses and organizations. The Center’s mission is to facilitate the launch of the next generation of entrepreneurs, innovators and dynamic organizations through education, research and outreach.

Minnesota State Mankato, a comprehensive university with 15,251 students, is part of the Minnesota State system, which includes 26 colleges and seven universities.
