Feb. 6: Upward Bound Sponsoring Red Cross Blood Drive

Mankato, Minn. – Upward Bound at Minnesota State University, Mankato is sponsoring a Red Cross Blood Drive on Monday, Feb. 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Minnesota State Mankato’s Centennial Student Union Ballroom.

Completion of a RapidPass® online health history questionnaire is encouraged to help speed up the donation process. To get started, follow the instructions at RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass or use the Blood Donor App.

According to the American Red Cross, blood is a perishable product that can only come from generous volunteers. By donating blood, individuals can make a difference in the lives of patients in their community and throughout the nation. Blood supplies are currently critically low.

Donors will receive a $10 e-gift card from Amazon. Parking codes for the Minnesota State Mankato visitors pay lot will be available.
