SEPT. 8, 2023 UPDATE:
Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Student Events Team announced today that it has postponed the Saturday, Sept. 9 outdoor showing of the movie “Interstellar” (PG-13), and the opportunity to view the night sky through observatory telescopes on campus because of forecasted cloudy skies and possible rain.
A makeup date is being considered.

The event was organized and sponsored by the University’s Student Events Team and the University’s Department of Physics and Astronomy.
The Student Events Team is a student-led organization that produces fun, interactive, educational events where students make lifelong memories and celebrate their Maverick pride.
The Department of Physics and Astronomy is part of the University’s College of Science, Engineering and Technology.
