Minnesota State University, Mankato Department of Theatre & Dance News Release

MANKATO – Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Department of Theatre & Dance continues the 2021-2022 Studio Season with "Twelve Angry Jurors" in the Andreas Theatre at the Early Center for the Performing Arts.

Originally produced as a television drama in 1954, this production tells the story of
12 jurors who convene to deliberate the fate of a young man accused of killing his
father. The jurors must make a unanimous decision on the verdict and determine the fate of the young man. While one juror tries tirelessly to sow seeds of reasonable doubt, the prejudices and personalities of the jurors are exposed. According to dramaturge Seth Honerman, this script requires the audience to think, feel and question their own prejudices.

"Twelve Angry Jurors" is directed by longtime faculty member, performance artist,
choreographer, and director of the dance program, Daniel Stark, who is making his
directorial debut in the Andreas Theatre.

Following CDC guidelines and University policy, masks are no longer required inside the Performing Arts Center.

Earley Center for Performing Arts, Minnesota State University, Mankato. Tickets are $10 regular, $9 for seniors ages 65 and older and children under 16; and $8
