Graduate Graduation and Transfer-out Rate

What is the graduate graduation rate and what is a transfer-out rate?
Federal regulations specify how to calculate the graduation and transfer rates. The rates come from Minnesota State Mankato students who started at the university in the fall of 2017. This includes all graduate degree-seeking students who enrolled full-time that fall and were seeking to earn a degree at the university. The graduate graduation rate is the percentage of these students who graduated from Minnesota State Mankato at two-year increments. The graduate transfer-out rate is the percentage of these students who did not graduate from Minnesota State Mankato, but instead transferred to another college or university at two-year increments.

What do I need to know about these graduate graduation rates?
These rates do not report on all students at Minnesota State Mankato, only the 258 full-time, degree-seeking graduate students began in the fall of 2017.
