Business Law (CERT)
Summary
The Business Law Certificate provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully identify and navigate the key legal and ethical issues faced by today's businesses. Key topics include contracts, employment law, intellectual property, international law, environmental law, dispute resolution, and the legal process. Students will also develop critical thinking, negotiation, conflict management, research, and advocacy skills.

Policies
Admission Requirements
Open to all majors. Students who are non-Business majors or those not seeking a four-year degree may take up to 24 credits in the College of Business. Transfer students must complete at least 50% (one-half) of their certificate coursework at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Advising for College of Business minors is done by the College of Business Advising Team.
Graduation Requirements
Students pursuing the Business Law certificate must earn a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 ("C") on the total courses required to complete the certificate.
