Olivia Meehling, Women in STEM LCC

Welcome… I’m your LCC Olivia 

I am so excited to meet you in the fall.  I will be a resource for you as you navigate through your first year of college here at Minnesota State University, Mankato!  Being involved with the Women in STEM Learning Community will help you academically as well as socially, so utilize me and your peers as much as you can! 

Major: Mathematics Education 

How/what made you decide this major? I had the most amazing math teachers in high school who have served as the best role models and I have always loved helping my peers and others.  

Year in School: Sophomore 

Hometown: Mankato, MN 

Favorite Food: I am known for my love of Starbursts Just Red Jellybeans  

Advice for LC Students: Focus on what you can control and try your best to let go of what you can’t control. 

Favorite thing about MSU: My favorite things about MSU is the people! 

Campus/LC Involvement: My freshman year I was a part of the Exploring Teaching Learning Community with my amazing LC Maddy. 

Favorite thing to do in Mankato: I love to go to the Mankato libraries and walk around with friends. I also love Caribou coffee, so I try to hang out there as well! 

Favorite things to do outside of school/coursework: I love to read, hang out with my friends and family, journal/scrapbook, be outside, and watch Gilmore Girls, Law & Order, and older rom-coms.
