Welcome… I’m your LCC Emily Wozniak!

I am so excited to meet you this fall.  I will be a resource for you as you navigate through your first year of college here at Minnesota State University, Mankato! Being involved with the sports medicine Learning Community will help you academically as well as socially, so utilize me and your peers as much as you can! Please feel free to message me at any point with questions that you may have! I can’t wait to meet you and have you as part of our Learning Community.

Major: Exercise Science- Pre Athletic Training

How/what made you decide this major? I have been an athlete all of my life and have loved getting to work alongside athletes. I want to be able to help people the same way that all of my trainers helped me.

Favorite Food: Chipotle!

Advice for LC Students: Enjoy your time here at MNSU! Get involved as much as you can! Have an open mind towards everything. And meet lots of new people!

Favorite thing about MSU: I love our school pride and how much everyone else is proud to be a Maverick!

Campus/LC Involvement: I am finishing my term on the RHA executive board for the resident halls this spring. I am also the coordinator for the sports medicine learning community!

Favorite thing to do in Mankato: I love going downtown to Artifact and painting pottery with my friends! It’s so peaceful and fun!

Favorite things to do outside of school/coursework: I love to hang out with my friends and family as much as possible. I have four dogs at home so I love taking them on walks or to the dog parks. I enjoy being active and traveling as much as I can.

Anything else we should know about you? This summer I am trying something new and I am coaching a 12u softball team in the cities for Bloomington Blast! I am so excited about this new experience and have learned so much about myself already!
