First-Year International Student Requirements
- Must provide proof of completion of secondary education (generally 12 years).
- Cumulative academic results must be equivalent to or greater than U.S. 3.0 GPA grading system.
- Meet one of the minimum standards for English Proficiency following the chart below.

SAT Critical Reading | 400 or higher |
SAT Reading | 22 or higher |
ACT English | 18 or higher |
Students transferring from a U.S. college or university can meet the English proficiency requirement by completing one semester of Freshman English Composition I with a grade of C or better. If transferring from a school on the quarter system, both Freshman Composition I and II must be completed with a grade of C or better.
The above requirements are for general university admission. Please note that the Aviation-Professional Flight and Nursing majors currently require higher English language proficiency scores.
