Fall 2024 Ceremony Dates and Times

The Fall 2024 ceremonies will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024. Please plan for each ceremony to be approximately 90 minutes long. 

9:00 a.m. - College of Allied Health & Nursing, College of Business

12:00 p.m. - College of Education, College of Humanities & Social Sciences, College of Science, Engineering, Technology

Location details

All ceremonies are held on campus in Bresnan Arena in the Taylor Center. This is not a ticketed event, and there is no limit on the number of guests a graduate is allowed to bring. 

Clear Bag and Other Policies 
No strollers, balloons, noise makers or signage are allowed in Bresnan Arena.

Minnesota State University, Mankato has implemented a clear bag policy.  Guests are encouraged to leave non-essential items at home.  Medical equipment and diaper bags, folding chairs, weather apparel and blankets are permitted and subject to search by security staff.  Prohibited items may include backpacks, coolers, briefcases, drawstring/cinch bags, grocery bags, and large purses.

Guests may carry into MSU venues and activities the following style and size of bag:

  • Clear tote (plastic, vinyl, or PVC) that does not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" or a plastic storage bag that is a maximum one gallon, resealable and clear.
  • Small bags, such as small clutch purse, that are approximately the size of a hand with or without a handle or strap will be allowed, but must not exceed 5" x 8".
  • Guests with bags not meeting guidelines will be asked to return them to a vehicle or switch bag contents to a clear bag. Non-complaint bags may be subject to search.

Parking

Parking on campus will be free the entire day of Commencement with the exception of Lots 8, 9 and 11.

Individuals with a special needs parking sticker can park in lots 8 and 9. In the event that these lots are full, please plan for the individual with special needs to be dropped off at the Taylor Center entrance.
