How would you describe yourself?

I would say I’m an observer. I like to watch and analyze people as well as the world. I try to always live in the moment and appreciate the “ordinary” things around me. When it comes to people, there are so many details in between the moments that go unnoticed, yet those are often the most interesting.

What's the craziest thing on your bucket list?

Attend a lot of concerts during the summertime.

Are you a dog or a cat person?

Cat person all the way. Growing up, we had a lot of street cats around, and I'd always stop to play with them. There was one cat that came by our door every day, and I used to feed and take care of her. I still feel emotionally attached to her.

What's your favorite part about being a student at Minnesota State University?

The best part about being a student at Minnesota State University is the chance to explore new ideas and make unexpected connections. Whether it’s learning something new in class or having a random conversation on campus, every day feels like an opportunity to grow!

If you could give one piece of advice to incoming international students, what would it be?

Embrace everything around you—new people, cultures, and opportunities. These are the things that will lead to your best friendships and make your overall university experience much better.

What's a difference between Mankato and your home country that surprised you? 

Mankato is really quiet and slow-paced. I’m used to always feeling like I’m in a hurry, but when I came here, everything changed. It’s much more relaxed and peaceful.
