What was your favorite part about being a college student?

Trying new things! Learning to be brave and step outside my comfort zone led me to so many opportunities.

What is the craziest thing on your bucket list?

I’m terrified of heights, but I want to skydive someday.

What advice would you give to incoming Mavericks?

Be faster than your fears! It’s an exciting time for students as you move into a whole new phase of life. Try new things, meet new people, and challenge the paradigms of your past.

What job would you have if you listened to your 6-year-old self?

Likely some sort of live host. I didn’t have imaginary friends as a child, but I would speak to a side of the room as if it was a live TV audience. My parents would often hear me shout “That’s all folks!” across the house as I’d go from one activity to the next.

What are you up to when you aren’t working?

Tending to my 8 cats and 3 dogs, watching Bollywood action films, or playing some Dungeons and Dragons.
