ABOUT ME:
I am a sophomore majoring in Biomedical Sciences. I am originally from Kenya believe studying at Minnesota State University is a wonderful experience. An interesting fact about me is that I am a very sociable person. I love talking to anyone and everyone about anything. I appreciate those moments and do them as often as possible.
WHY I AM PASSIONATE ABOUT MINNESOTA STATE MANKATO:
I am very keen and passionate about conducting research here. I love the notion that I can create something big today that was not there yesterday. Research is the key to solving most of our worldly problems and I love being a part of that.
IMPACT OF DONORS:
Most students are always working under a point of pressure not only for academic but also for financial reasons. When donors come in to give financial support, it helps lift a huge financial and mental burden, hence bringing students a step closer to academic success.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:
I try to be intentional with my free time with the community. As a result, I volunteer over the summer at hospitals. It has been an incredible experience for me. It has helped me become more knowledgeable about the hospital system. I have adadpted to talking with patients and their families while waiting. It is very rewarding.
