About Kristen

I joined this University in 2016. Since the start of my development career, my promise to our students is to work every day, all day, engaging with alumni and friends that want to help our students achieve their dream of affording college and graduating with a degree. I feel incredibly fortunate to do the work I do. I’ve also been blessed with a wonderful family. My husband and I live in south central rural Minnesota, we have three wonderful kids and a Cavalier King Charles that loves to snuggle.

In another life, I'm pretty sure I was supposed to be the original Olivia Newton-John in the movie Grease.

As a development officer, I have learned I need to work the hardest I have ever worked, and it is the most emotionally fulfilling work you could ever do. It’s worth it!

If I weren’t so damn good at my job, I’d probably be a co-host like Kelly Ripa on Live with Kelly and Ryan
