KMSU Presents Summer Live Music Series
Curated series presents amazing local music at the Wine Cafe
This summer, the Wine Café is partnering with KMSU to host an artist-of-the-week concert series called The Golden Hour. Featuring a curated lineup of Mankato musicians, performances will take place on the Wine Café patio (301 N Riverfront Drive, Mankato, MN) from 7 to 9 pm every Saturday from July 10 through August 28. To make these shows even more special, an opening act chosen by the headliner will kick off each night. These performers will be side projects, friends’ bands, or musicians that the headlining artist wants to share with Mankato. During the week of each performance, the featured artist will be highlighted on KMSU, social media, and The Free Press. Funding for the concert series is provided by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
The Golden Hour concert series will celebrate Mankato's local original musicians and reintroduce them to the community after this lost year. Music gave us hope at the start of the pandemic, and it will heal us as we move forward into each new sunset.
