Pageant & Singalong Nation Returns on November 18th!
'Pageant & Singalong Nation: Under Pressure' will feature the music of David Bowie & Queen
Pageant & Singalong Nation returns on Saturday, November 18th with 'Under Pressure', featuring the music of David Bowie & Queen! The performance begins at 8:00 p.m. at Patrick's on 3rd (125 S 3rd St) in St. Peter, MN. This FREE show is made possible with funding from the Minnesota State Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
Pageant & Singlong Nation is the brainchild of Ann Rosenquist Fee, who had a childhood dream of putting on an amateur performance of Jesus Christ Superstar with her family and friends. That dream came true with performances of the Andrew Lloyd Webber classic in 2017 and 2018. That was followed in 2019 with Rocky Horror Bat Out of Hell, a mashup of The Rocky Horror Show and Bat Out of Hell. After a two year global health disaster mandated hiatus, Pageant & Singalong Nation returned with Midlife Recital, featuring performances of the songs that got us all through the pandemic.
The theme for the 2023 production is 'Under Pressure' and features the music of David Bowie & Queen. Preparation begins on Wednesday, July 23rd at 7:00 p.m. at the Arts Center of Saint Peter, with rehearsals and planning every Wednesday through November. Everyone is welcome to participate, regardless of experience. Soloists and choir members are needed, as well as wardrobe and set design members.
