New Student Orientation
Spring Orientation and Class Registration Information
New Student On-Campus Orientation Option: Not available Spring 2025
After registering for orientation, you will be enrolled into online modules to complete at your own pace. Some modules may need to be completed before attending the on-campus orientation. During the selected on-campus orientation date you will meet your peers, current student leaders, university staff, and advisors to learn more about campus resources and complete course registration. You will be able to familiarize yourself with campus while attending orientation which can make the move-in and first week of classes less stressful. The on-campus option is a day long experience starting in the morning and ending before dinner. A Family Orientation will be offered simultaneously to the student orientation.
New Student Virtual Orientation Option: Spring 2025
After registering for a virtual orientation session, you will be enrolled in online modules to complete at your own pace. Some modules may need to be completed before attending the Academic Advising & Registration component of orientation. During the selected orientation date, you will join a Zoom room to go over important Academic Advising & Registration information. During the Zoom orientation session, you will select a separate meeting time for course registration which will also take place over Zoom.
Spring 2025 Virtual Orientation Dates:
December 9 12:30pm-2:30pm
January 6 8:30am-10:30am
New students will also have the opportunity to register for an optional Virtual Connection Lab. These connection labs are facilitated by student leaders on campus who will meet with you over Zoom to answer your questions and connect you with other incoming new students. These hour long sessions are a great way to meet others and become more familiar with campus from the comfort of your own home.
Orientation has a fee of $75.00.
