Day One Overview 

10:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: Family Orientation Check-in 

10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. MavCARD Student ID

• Student ID card pick up for those submitting their photo online
• On-Site photos taken for those without pre-approved online photo

10:45 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Pre-Orientation Financial Aid Information Session

11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.: Lunch

1:00 p.m.-1:20 p.m.: Orientation Welcome

1:00-3:20 p.m.: Information Sessions

• Academic College Meetings and Information
• Financial Aid Important Dates

3:20 p.m.: Family Program Dismissal

3:30 p.m.-4:00 p.m.: Family Orientation and Family Programs

4:00 p.m.-4:15 p.m.: Meal Plans and University Dining

4:15 p.m.-5:15 p.m.: Residential Life Family Session

5:00 p.m.-6:45 p.m.: Self-Guided Residence Hall Room Tour

5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.: Late Orientation Housing Check-In

5:30- 6:45 p.m.: Maverick Kickoff Dinner

6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.: Campus Recreation Center

7:15-8:30 a.m.: Residence Hall Checkout and Breakfast

7:45-9:15 a.m.: Self-Guided Residence Hall Room Tour

8:00-9:30 a.m.: MavCARD Student ID Pick Up

8:30- 9:15 a.m: Campus Resource and Office Fair

8:45 a.m.-9:15 a.m. Optional Information sessions

• Secondary Education, First Generation, and NCAA Athlete Meeting

9:30-11:15 a.m.: Information Sessions

• Student Health Services

• Student Panel for Families
