Orientation Fee Questions

What does the Orientation fee cover?

The $75 orientation fee covers the entire cost of the orientation experience from meal (in-person orientation), program materials, facility costs, technology costs, staffing, summer mailings, Welcome Week programming, etc.

Can the orientation fee be waived?

The orientation fee cannot be waived, however there is an option for students who have financial need to have their orientation fee charged (deferred) to their student bill. Please contact New Student and Family Programs at 507-389-5498 for more information and the documents needed to process this request. Please note that this request needs to occur prior to the attending an orientation program.
