Military Science classes provide premier leadership training through hands-on experiences, confidence building, military history, and teamwork skills. The four-year Army ROTC curriculum enhances students' leadership, managerial, and organizational abilities.  This program enables Cadets to compete for a commission as an officer in the United States Army, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard

What do Army officers do?

Officers serve as leaders and managers in the US Army, overseeing a variety of specialties with increasing levels of responsibility throughout their careers. The Army relies on officers with diverse specialties and experience to ensure smooth daily operations. There are 16 basic career fields in the Army, including Aviation, Armor, Artillery, Logistics, Infantry, Military Intelligence, Military Police, Adjutant General, Transportation and Finance.
