late fall 2024 and spring 2025 recruitment

It's not too late to join! Our fraternity and sorority chapters host informal recruitment events in late Fall and during the Spring Semester.

Our community-wide recruitment events include the following

  • Wednesday, January 15, 2025. 7-9 p.m. CSU Lower Level
    • Welcome Back Bash: Free Bowling and Billiards in the Maverick Bullpen. Meet members of our fraternities and sororities, and get your questions answered.
  • Wednesday, January 22, 7-8:30 p.m., Preska Hall 126
    • Come meet with us at the RSO Involvement Fair. This is being held in conjunction with Residential Life's WOW event. We'll be there and look forward to meeting you!
  • Thursday, January 23, 8-10 p.m., CSU 253
    • All-Fraternity & Sorority Social: Meet and mingle with members of our Fraternity & Sorority Community, and find out if joining is for you.

These events are designed to be come-and-go-as-you-please, so you do not have to show up at the beginning, and you don't have to stay for the whole time. There is no dress code for these events.

You can contact us for more information or to have your contact information shared with our fraternity and sorority chapters.

Summer and Fall

In addition to holding an optional information session at each in-person Summer Orientation (during the 11 a.m.-12 p.m. time block), we've got the following times for you to visit with us and to learn more.

  • Fall 2025 Info Session Dates Will Be Shared in Late Spring 2025

"Meet the Greeks" Informal Social Gatherings

No-obligation, no-pressure opportunities to meet people and find out more will be held early during both semesters.  These are chances to meet members of our community and other students who, like you, are thinking about joining, or who already have!  You do not have to make any commitment at this time. It's a great opportunity to hang out and ask questions.  If you're wondering about the difference between Fraternities & Sororities, Fraternity members are those who identify as Male, and Sorority members are those who identify as Female.  If you have further questions, feel free to reach out and let us know.

Formal/Structured Recruitment

Dates for Fall 2025 structured recruitment processes will be posted in Spring 2025.

Our Fraternity Community will provide a structured recruitment process.  This is for men who would like a guided introduction to each fraternity chapter.  It has become a popular option, even though most men join through informal recruitment in Summer, early Fall, or the Spring Semester.  Check out the Fraternity Recruitment information page for more details, a schedule, and registration information.

Our Sorority Community hosts what is called "Partially Structured Recruitment."  This is intended to provide an enhanced and more flexible experience for women wishing to join a sorority.  Visit the Sorority Recruitment information page for more details, a schedule, and registration information.

Please visit the specific pages for Fraternity or Sorority Recruitment to learn more about the opportunities available in Spring 2025 or the 2025-2026 academic year..

Have your expectations exceeded, and join our community.
