Crystal Watts graduated from Southwest MN State University (SMSU) with a BA in Psychology as a non-traditional student. She also interned in the Office of Civic and Community Engagement while serving 2 consecutive years as a CNCS AmeriCorps VISTA. During her 2 years of service, she created campus and community partnerships; researched the topic of basic needs insecurities on local, state, and national levels; helped write a grant & open the Mustang Market, SMSU's Student Food Pantry. More recently, Crystal graduated with her MS Counseling & Student Personel;College Student Affairs. She is excited to share in the many adventures and successes that students find in the Student Activites Department every day at MSU, Mankato. Community Engagement and building partnerships through collaboration is her passion.

Crystal lives in Mankato and enjoys hiking, crafting, hanging out with friends and taking care of her pet cat...a ginger named Gordy.
