Born and raised in Eagan, MN, Kurt graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2024 with Magna Cum Laude distinction. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in the Science of Coaching. Throughout his time at UWEC, Kurt held various positions in Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity, assisted with Greek Life engagement, and researched achievement pressures college students face.
In addition to his active involvement on campus, Kurt kept busy with coaching positions. He was the head C-team coach and varsity assistant for both girls volleyball and boys basketball at Eleva-Strum High School.
Through these leadership positions Kurt gained valuable experience coordinating teams, communicating with others, and overall helping big organizations navigate through the year.
In his leisure time, Kurt enjoys the outdoors and all that comes with it. From simple walks to swimming, hiking, biking, camping and sightseeing. He also appreciates books, journaling, and researching for material to talk about in his podcast.
Kurt is now returning home to Minnesota for graduate studies, as he accepted his admission to the Mental Health Counseling program at MSU. He is excited for the experiences that lie ahead as he continues his academic pursuit and begins his role as a graduate advisor.
