Mankato Bike Ride

Rent a bike: Contact Maverick Adventures at adventure@mnsu.edu to reserve a rental bike for this trip! Please include your height and Star ID (for students/staff). Limited quantity and sizes available. The rental cost is $10 for students and $15 for non-students. Your rental includes a bike, helmet, and bike lock and allows you to keep the bike for up to 24 hours. 

Bikes will be provided near the fountain at check-in and can be returned at the end of the ride or to Myers Field House 130 between 2:30-3pm on Thursday, June 27^th. Renters are required to sign a waiver and pay by card at check-in.

• Casual paced ride averaging about 10mph 
• All riders are welcome.
• No drop ride group ride.  Riders will stop and regroup along the route to keep everyone together.
• Ride is weather permitting.
• Helmets are required.
• Parent or guardian must accompany riders under 18.
• Signed waiver is needed before the ride begins. Waiver will be at the Mall Fountain.
• The ride will visit the West Dairy Queen location; riders should bring money if they wish to purchase treats.
• Ride will depart at 3:00pm, please arrive early and be ready to roll out by then.
• Ride leaders will review basic safety information for group ride before ride departs.
• Anticipate route is 13-mile loop from campus to Red Jacket Valley Park stopping for frozen treats at the West Dairy Queen before returning to campus. Route is subject to change.
