Celebrate Women's History Month in a unique way by painting incredible female icons! Pick up a paint brush and let your worries melt away. Each program includes a mix of up to 11 different designs, including the following iconic women: Lena Horne (Singer, Dancer, Actress, and Civil Rights Activist) Amanda Gorman (First National Youth Poet Laureate) Anna May Wong (First Chinese American Hollywood Movie Star) Malala Yousafzai (Pakistani Activist) Frida Kahlo (Mexican Artist) Ruth Bader Ginsburg (Former Supreme Court Justice) Coretta Scott King (Author, Activist, Civil Rights Leader) Michelle Obama (Former First Lady) Rosa Parks (Civil Rights Icon) Sacheen Littlefeather (American actress, model and activist for Native American civil rights) Rita Moreno (Puerto Rico-born American actress, dancer, and singer)
Student Events Team Educational Entertainment Board Member said, "We've heard their names before, but we don't know them in this depth. This activity will not only allow students to relax and be creative during their down time, but to learn of the history surrounding us is always important".
