Dropping Courses

You may drop/withdraw from courses on E-services through the published deadline dates for the semester. Refer to the Term Calendar provided by the Office of Registration and Academic Records.

There are different academic and financial outcomes for courses dropped by the fifth day of the semester and for those dropped after the fifth day of the semester.

Charges for courses dropped through the fifth day of the semester are removed from your bill and the course(s) will not appear on your academic transcript.

Charges for full-term courses dropped after the fifth day of the semester are not removed from your bill and the course(s) will appear with a “W” grade on your academic transcript to indicate they are in a withdrawal status.
