MavCARD Features
Your MavCARD identifies you as a student, faculty or staff member at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
University Dining manages all on-campus food service locations and meals plans for the University community. Although these plans are managed by University Dining Services, and not the MavCARD office, they are accessed through your MavCARD.
The Barcode on the back of your MavCARD is used to manage your Memorial Library books and material requests.
By presenting your MavCARD at Sporting events you may gain free admission or reduced prices.
Your MavCARD allows student admittance to the Otto Rec Center facilities; and access for Faculty and Staff who have paid memberships.
By presenting your MavCARD at a Student Activities event you may gain free admission or reduced prices.
Bus (Mankato Area)
Show your MavCARD for free bus rides on any of the campus and Mankato city buses to nearby apartment complexes; including evening service.
Door Access (on campus; Res Life)
Residence Hall residents in McElroy, Crawford, Julia Sears, Preska and Stadium Heights complexes have exterior door card access.
