John Kriesel: Still Standing, Still Smiling

In December 2006, while stationed in Iraq, Minnesota native John Kriesel lost both his legs and his two closest friends when their Humvee triggered 200 pounds of explosives. His story of resiliency and positivity in the aftermath will be the focus of his motivational presentation, “Still Standing, Still Smiling” Monday, November 4, at 7:30 PM at Minnesota State Mankato Ostrander Auditorium. Sponsored by the Centennial Student Union, the University’s Veterans Resource Center, and Radio Mankato, the event is free to the public with free event parking in the visitors' lot across from the CSU.
