LGBTQ+ Safe Zone Training Part 1 and 2

Safe Zone is a program geared towards providing education, so participants can better understand impacts the LGBTQ+ community experience to give participants some tools to help create an inclusive environment for students, staff, and faculty at Minnesota State University-Mankato This program allows for introspection and reflection on various aspects of the LGBTQ+ community via presentation, discussion, and activities that aim to improve Allyship & Advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community. This is a great training for those who wish to learn more about the LGBTQ+ community and how to better support those in your life that identify as LGBTQ+.
There are two Safe Zone Training opportunities in October:
- Two-Part Training: October 8 and October 15, 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Must attend both trainings)
- October 25 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
