The Community Partnerships Department is committed to advancing equity, inclusion, and social justice by creating meaningful connections between the university and the broader community. Our work is centered around several key focus areas that aim to address the needs of underrepresented groups, empower diverse communities, and foster positive, sustainable change.
◦ A collaborative space for organizations and community leaders to address diversity and inclusion issues. ◦ Regular meetings to share resources and strengthen the multicultural community.
◦ A platform that brings together scholars, activists, and community members to promote social justice and equity. ◦ Projects and events focused on human rights, environmental justice, and equitable access to resources.
◦ Podcast: Diversity in Action – A space to discuss relevant topics for minority and vulnerable communities ◦ News Bulletin: A biweekly newsletter featuring key information for the community and partners ◦ Social Media & Email: Communication channels for sharing events, opportunities, and resources
◦ Resources and Support – Guiding immigrant and refugee communities through programs and partnerships ◦ Collaborating for Advocacy – Partnering with organizations to strengthen immigrant rights ◦ Legal and Policy Awareness – Providing immigration-related resources to students and the community
