The Moon Shot initiative at Minnesota State Mankato is a comprehensive project aimed at ensuring student success for all. The initiative is designed to eliminate obstacles, transform systems, and ensure that all students are successful.

Best Practice Teams

Best practice teams are collaborative groups made up of representatives from various departments across campus. They are dedicated to identifying, developing, and implementing effective strategies and solutions to enhance student success and address specific areas of improvement within the Moon Shot initiative. These teams are responsible for developing recommendations and implementation plans.

The following teams are the first to launch, with more to come as the initiative progresses:

• Transfer Pathways
• Proactive Advising
• Access to a Second Chance - Adult Learner Reengagement

As the initiative evolves, additional teams will be formed to tackle new challenges and expand our efforts to support student success.
