University Security is responsible for alerting the campus community of any potential, serious, or ongoing threat possed to the campus community. Active alerts will be posted to this page in addition to email and public notification channels.
University Security is responsible for maintaining a Daily Crime and Fire Log for all campus owned and controlled property. The Daily Crime and Fire Log can be viewed online or in-person at the Security Office during normal business hours.
University Security is responsible for publishes the Minnesota State University, Mankato Annual Security and Fire Safety Report for the Mankato and Edina campus. A paper copy of the report may also be obtained by contacting the University Security office.

The Silent Witness Report Form is designed to allow individuals to report incidents they are aware of and remain anonymous if they so choose. If you have information you believe university officials should know about, fill out the Silent Witness Report Form and university officials will follow up.
The Non Campus Events form is designed to allow individuals to report dates and times of University events held away from the core campus where the University and student organizations owned or controlled property used by students, including hotel rentals.
