What I Like about Being a Maverick
I had a great time during my undergraduate degree and was missing this campus. Campus is such a lively environment and students are proud to be a Maverick. The size of the campus and our students make it so active and fun. We have very involved students that care a lot! We are here for the students and interact with students every day. I love to learn more about them & to support them in any small or big way.
The focus on connections and support is what brought me back to Mankato that I am very glad to call home once again.
Professional Development/Involvement/Interests
Having been an international student myself I am interested on how to improve the student experience for that population and having international & domestic student connect further. I have attended the UMR ACUHO Conference and look forward to more conferences within Housing as well as NAFSA.
Hobbies
I play quite a bit of volleyball and like to remain active. I enjoy going on roadtrips and seeing more of the states. When I’m at home, I love watching shows and movies with my dog Jerri! I play some videogames as well with my friends from the Netherlands. I have a partner who I enjoy going around town with to different stores and explore the state of Minnesota further through camping!
