What I Like About Being A Maverick
My favorite part about being a Maverick is the energy that everyone brings and willingness to be actively engaged. There is a lot of pride here on campus and you can feel the connection amongst the community. Everyone is here to support one another as they figure out their own individual journey and we want to see everyone succeed. #GoMavs!
Professional Development/Involvement/Interests
Throughout my time working in student affairs, I have become invested in learning more and working with diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. A passion area of mine is supporting transgender and non-binary students through their personal and academic journey. A few others include working with first-generation college students and non-traditional students transitioning to a college environment, looking at student environments and design that best support connection, and development of student leaders.
Hobbies
In my free time, I love to explore different areas around campus and Mankato. I often take walks around the fitness loops on campus. When I am home, I love to play PC video games, read fantasy novels, watch dramas, or put on my favorite anime. You will often see me listening to or looking for new music. Come see my album cover wall in my office!
