What I like about being a Maverick
The community on campus and in the city is full of support for staff and students. The department focuses on what students need to succeed on campus, but also makes sure that staff are provided resources to accomplish them. The campus continues to look at ways to grow and adapt to best serve our students.
Professional Development
I have worked with college access programs, and a passion area of mine is working with first-generation college students. Some of my professional development areas of interest include diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), mental health and wellbeing, student leadership, and accessibility resources.
Hobbies
In my free time I love exploring around Minnesota with my golden retriever Sammy, and hiking near the water. I love reading, baking, and traveling. You will most likely find me listening to music or exploring new coffee shops.
